71. Watch all Oscar nominated Best Picture Movies from one year

Okay, so I haven't finished this one, but just thought I'd start the list to show what I have watched so far. I decided to choose this year's nominations since there were so many good movies.

1.“Avatar” James Cameron and Jon Landau, Producers
Beautiful and amazing graphics, captivating scenes, pretty silly characters, and an over the top bad guy.
2.“The Blind Side” Gil Netter, Andrew A. Kosove and Broderick Johnson, Producers
Sandra Bullock deserved her oscar for this. Touching movie, but not in an overly cheesy way. Compelling and even better that it's a true story.
3.“District 9” Peter Jackson and Carolynne Cunningham, Producers
4.“An Education” Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey, Producers
5.“The Hurt Locker” Kathryn Bigelow, Mark Boal, Nicolas Chartier & Greg Shapiro, Producers
6.“Inglourious Basterds” Lawrence Bender, Producer
Quentin Tarantino at his best. Great acting, over the top violence, disturbing story, and the best villain ever.
7.“Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” Lee Daniels, Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness, Producers
This movie makes you feel like you have no right to complain about your life...ever. So heartbreakingly sad and unbelievable, but the acting is powerful.
8.“A Serious Man” Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, Producers
9.“Up” Jonas Rivera, Producer
I cried in the first 10 minutes. Seriously. Best story from an animated movie I've seen. Loved the graphics too.
10.“Up in the Air” Daniel Dubiecki, Ivan Reitman and Jason Reitman, Producers
A different and thought provoking story, with strong performances and a nice twist at the end.
